Ms. Desai is a consultant to management specializing in retained based executive search. Sushila practices within the major line and staff functional disciplines with particular emphasis in financial services.

Previously she served as Assistant Vice President, Manager of Multicultural Recruitment and Principal Human Resource Specialist for The Boston Company. She owned full responsibility for the development and implementation of the organization’s systems for recruiting and employment of senior executives. This required in-depth knowledge of the company's business and the ability to interface with all levels of management. Created and defined manpower needs, recruiting programs and recommended policies and procedures for development of multicultural diversification objectives. Highlights included analysis of recruiting resources, execution of many searches and selection/management of third party consultants. Performed and established systems of sourcing networks, advertising campaigns, interviewing and screening prospective candidates in accordance with written set of position specifications and with an emphasis towards diversification. In specific cases made recommendation to senior management based on interviews and reference audits.

Sushila also co-founded a Boston based executive search firm and has many years as a consultant to management. Sushila commenced her career with Bank of America.

Sushila has an A.B. in International Government from Smith College and was a selected Exchange Student at Williams College.
