A founding member of the firm, he serves as a focal point for Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer, Board of Director and C-Level and VP-level (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and CFO) assignments for the firm. He is chartered with ensuring the firm’s most qualified resources are assigned to these searches across high technology industry segments, (software, semiconductor, security and telecommunication/networking) for clients in all stages of the corporate life cycle, from venture backed start ups to Fortune 500.

Retained by corporate Boards, Doug has consistently delivered CEO and Board of Directors candidates who have had a significant impact on their company’s market capitalization. In addition to corporate clients, Doug has been retained by top-tier investment groups, (Venture Capital and LBO). Having developed long-term relationships, he has continually been hired by these investment groups to recruit CEOs and important executives for high-profile searches for companies across the full spectrum of size including public, high-growth, turnaround, start-up and roll-up scenarios.

Prior to joining Cliff Sink in 1992 as a Managing Director, he was Vice President at Kishbaugh Associates, a premier retained executive search firm serving all markets. Doug was formerly the Chief Financial Officer for R.M. Bradley’s Bradley Real Estate Investment Trust, (worlds longest continuous running REIT, traded on NASDAQ). He spent six years in public accounting, including terms with Pricewaterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. He earned a CPA certification after passing the exam first sitting.
